Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the keynote address at the India Ideas Summit on Wednesday, 21st July 2020, news agency ANI reported quoting a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). The summit is being hosted by US-India Business Council. This year marks the 45th anniversary of the formation of the council. “US-India economic partnership has been one that has been growing in importance for both countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, 21st July, congratulated nuclear scientists as the Kakrapar atomic power plant-3 achieved criticality, saying the indigenous reactor is a shining example of the 'Make in India' campaign. The 700 MW power plant achieved criticality, meaning it reached the normal operating condition of a reactor. It indicates that the plant is now set to generate power. 5. Drug firm Mylan on Wednesday said it has received approval from the Indian drug regulator for anti-tuberculosis drug _________, developed specifically for drug-resistant forms of the disease. The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved the drug for conditional access under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) as per the statement by Mylan.
