3. The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave green signal for strengthening the vaults of famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple which reportedly contains wealth worth over Rs 1.50 lakh crore. A bench of justices RM Lodha and AK Patnaik said the amount for strengthening the vaults, which is estimated to cost Rs 80 lakh, would be paid jointly by the state government and the temple management.
