1. What this covers

This policy explains what information QuizMantra collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and how it's handled. It applies to the QuizMantra website and any apps that link to this policy.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your email address, a display name, and (if you sign in with Google or Apple) an avatar image, name, and email you choose to share with us through those providers. If you play as a guest, we don't collect any account information at all.

Gameplay data — your answers, whether they were correct, how long you took, your score, streak, Eternity Stones, and badges earned. If you're signed in, this is saved to your account; as a guest, it's kept only in your browser until you sign in.

Referral data — if you invite someone or join via a referral link, we record which accounts are linked so referral rewards can be attributed correctly.

We never ask for or store a password — sign-in is handled entirely by Google, Apple, or a one-time email link.

3. How we use your information

• To run the core game: today's quiz, scoring, streaks, badges, and leaderboards
• To send you sign-in emails (magic links)
• To attribute referrals between accounts
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse or cheating

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

4. What other users can see

QuizMantra has leaderboards (global, city, and friends). If you're signed in, your display name, avatar, and score can be visible to other users through these leaderboards. Your individual answers and response times are never shown to anyone else.

5. Sign-in providers

If you choose "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple," that provider handles authentication and shares only the basic profile information you approve (typically name, email, and photo) with us. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your data on their end.

6. Where your data lives

QuizMantra runs on infrastructure we operate directly — a self-hosted database and mail server, not third-party analytics or marketing platforms. We don't use tracking cookies. Your device's local storage is used only to keep you signed in and to remember guest progress before you sign in.

7. Your choices

You can sign out at any time, which clears your session from that device. To request that your account and associated data be deleted, contact us at the address below.

8. Children's privacy

QuizMantra is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
