2. On Wednesday, 20th Feb 2013, AirAsia and Tata group have announced plans to jointly establish a domestic Indian airline. The southeast Asian airline reported to Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on Wednesday that it has applied to India’s Foreign Investment Promotion Board for permission to establish an airline joint venture with Tata Sons and businessman ______________ of Telestra Tradespace. If the deal comes through, it would mark the first international investment in India’s aviation sector since September 2012, when the Indian Govt. said that it would allow foreign airlines to hold up to 49 per cent of its local carriers.

4. Indian Premier League cricket franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday 20 feb 2013 appointed Virat Kohli as their captain for the upcoming sixth edition of Indian Premier League. Across five seasons in the IPL, Kohli has scored 1639 runs at an average of 28.25 with a strike-rate of 119.28. According to the team, his 77 matches are the most appearances of any player for RCB and the third most appearances by a player in the IPL.
