1. ONGC creates world record on drilling deepest water depth well. ONGC's chartered-hired ultradeep water drillship __________ has set a world record for drilling well in deepest water depth by an offshore drilling rig, company said in a statement on 18 Feb 2013. The rig has spudded well NA7-1 in exploratory block KG-DWN-2004/1 in east coast India at a water depth of 3165m (10,385 feet) on January 23, 2013. Thereafter, it successfully lowered and latched subsea BOP and riser on wellhead on February 09, 2013 to drill further to TD 5625m.

2. A Maldives court has issued fresh arrest warrant on 18th February 2013 against former Maldives President who has taken political asylum in the Indian High Commission. 4. On Monday, 18 Feb 2013, the government cleared a proposal to allow 4Glicence holders to also offer voice calling services. 5. Nagaland Minister Imkong L. Imchen has resigned from the ruling Naga People’s Front (NPF) government as per the statement released by a party official on Tuesday, 19 Feb 2013. Mr. Imchen put in his papers after the Election Commission authorities seized cash amounting to more than Rs.1 crore and weapons from his vehicle on Monday by troopers of Assam Rifles.
